Kyalami is is a Caribbean mansion that was once the site of grand parties in years past with famous celebrities. The property has been renovated and equipped with the latest amenities and guests may now enjoy the grandeur of this aristocratic and renowned property that is nestled hillside above Charlotte Amalie.

The home offers panoramas vistas of red tiled roofs, the colorful harbor and nearby Water and Hassel Islands. The views during the daytime are of dramatic cruise ships and at night the twinkling lights of nearby town dance across the harbor.

A spacious home, it offers 4600 square feet and provides plenty of privacy. The interiors feature cool terrazzo floors, soft neutral colors, elegant and classic Caribbean furnishings as well as the owner's extensive collection of original art. The Great Room is expansive and features exquisite silk upholstery. Adjoining the Great Room is a more casual media room furnished with a large leather sofa that is perfect for watching TV or relaxing. Off of the Great Room is the dining area as well.

The villa is built on two levels and offers an expansive 60 foot verandah furnished with umbrella tables and chairs and offers and ideal spot for alfresco dining. The main level features the completely air-conditioned kitchen as well as two air-conditioned king bedroom/bath suites. The fully air-conditioned master bedroom offer original hand carved woodwork as well as a lavish marble bath complete with a tub and shower. A cozy patio complete with hot tub overlooking the harbor is located just off the master suite and a gate connects this patio to the main verandah. A second king bedded master suite is a bit smaller but nicely equipped with cable TV and DVD player.

A staircase leads from the kitchen down to the garden and pool and canvas covered cabana. The pool is set within lush tropical gardens that include tall mature exotic trees. The pool deck is furnished with chaise lounges and tables and makes it a wonderful place for relaxing. The area, also, offers a small refrigerator for cold drinks and a gas grill for cooking out and enjoying the setting.

Centrally located, Kyalami offers easy access to Magen's Bay Beach and colorful Charlotte Amalie which offers exceptional duty-free shopping and a plethora of restaurants.

"Kyalami has an on-site manager, Edward Smith, aka "Smitty," who lives in the lower (garden) level of the property with Kyalami's house dog, a well-mannered chocolate Labrador named Max. Should you have any maintenance problems or questions, Kyalami's resident manager will be happy to assist you at any time. On the lower level is also a single tenant who is out working during the day and rarely seen at all."
